Issues Important to Californians
Californians have a right to common-sense representation in Sacramento. We expect that those we elect shall represent our interests. Unfortunately, the California State Legislature appears to be drifting off course.
On issues large and small, the Legislature is ignoring the needs - and sometimes even the demands - of California residents and businesses. When important issues are facing a crisis, all too often the Legislature is quick to propose a grand scheme whose lofty goals hide a potential crushing burden for residents and businesses in California.
Some of the key issues I am concentrating on for the betterment of Californians in general - and residents of the Central Valley in particular - are detailed below. Please feel free to send me feedback on these or any other issues.
» Raising Taxes Will Not Solve California’s Budget Problems
» Proposition 13 Protects Homeowners
» It’s Time To Reform State Government
» Bipartisan Reforms Will Increase Prison Capacity, Protect California Families
» Releasing ‘Non-Serious’ Offenders Jeopardizes Safety of All Californians
» There They Go Again on Higher Taxes and Bigger Government
» Responsible Action Needed to Improve Health Care for California Families
» The Time Is Now For Redistricting Reform
» Independent Citizens Should Draw District Lines
» Talk is Cheap on Redistricting Reform
